OK,I have this 10/14(1978) tom that I'm recovering,but it had a slingerland mount on it,which the last owner holesawed a 1.25" diameter hole!!.Outside of that,this maple drum is near perfect on the inside.I want to patch this hole before giving it to the recovering guy.I also believe I should relocate the original tom bracket on the other side,as not to weaken the shell.Any thoughts?
