They deserve their own thread; guess it would include 602 preserial, later, Modern Essentials and Sound Creation. go.
I bought 9 of them last year. Various nics and some breaks but still sound fantastic ( well ok..Real good.)
I bought all preserials (just kinda happened that way- they were all reasonable) I own :
22" Ride
20" Ride (no nics no cracks)
19" ride (?) has some old K Intermediate to it
18" Seven Sound Set China ( only serial of the bunch)
18" Ride crash ( no ink only on the SSS china)
18" Flat ( has a good break in it still cool)
14" top (no nics no cracks)
14" heavier (black and brown with patina)
14" Sound Edge bottom.
What I notice early 602- like these- were very susceptible - to common everyday edge nicks. Every break crack in these began as an edge nick. I can only conclude every crack inward began with an edge nick.
