Paiste 602 and 2002 serial numbers and dating

Hi guys, I have just registered. I love and collect vintage Ludwig and I have some old Paiste 602 and 2002 Black label, I also own a set of Paiste Giante Beat.

How can I find a table indicating connection between serial numbers and production year? Thank you

Welcome to the forum...as far as the Paiste's go, 6 digit serials can be dated by the first number which usually is the last number of the year made..starting in the 70'a and ending in mid 80's. Check out Paiste on Wikipedia for types of cymbals and years made..

You can sell them to me too if you like :)

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....
