Dustin.1st of all you have an EXTREMLY rare pie(slang term for Paiste)! Phil Rudd from AC/DC used one as a crash (i have this info straight from Paiste Profiles 3).The 1st number is the year it was made so i,m guessing correctly it,s a 74 BUT i,m NO Paiste expert! :(.Go to Paiste-only.com if no-one else on here helps
cheers mate
Ado.
Ten years from this last post and I too have just managed to get hold of a 1978 16" Black label Paiste. Light hammering, tight lathing, beautiful sound, crashes well too. This is the sweetest pie I've heard. Also picked up a PAISTE 2002 20" HEAVY RIDE 1977 - alot of hammering. A really dark sound but the decay goes on for ever!!! Based in the UK and paid about £100 each. I waited a long time to find any 16" rides of a jungle/cocktail kit I've putting together.
Yes, OP's cymbal is a 1974
Paiste also made 13, 14, and 15" Rides back then too.
