I'd like to get the 22" Aquarian Regulator front head with port, but I don't like the gloss look, and you can see the muffling ring when the light is coming from the back. I love the sound of this head, and I'd like to outfit my set with all Aquarian. Has anyone here ever spray painted a resonant bass head? How durable is it and will it affect the sound much? I was thinking of a light coat of grey primer then flat white. Ooh, maybe I can make an old school Pearl logo decal to match the ones on my drums!
