Does anyone know where these were made? I believe they’re 1990 ish. Black oval badge that says Pacific over the top half of badge. Bass drum reso has Pacific logo at top and by DW at bottom. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Pacific Drums by DW
I guess I had found the info I was looking for. It’s a good kit for this recent purchase. Has a nice matching wood snare drum.
Some info I read.
Pacific Drums products are manufactured in China. Taiwan and Mexico. The line still uses some custom techniques, but primarily uses computerized machinery to cut costs and reduce steps to create drums in large quantities.
I know the Mexican made pdp drums used the same shells as the top of the line dw models minus the rerings.
If you can find the CX series and Platinum Series, both were made in Mexico just across the border from California. Good quality drums. The CX (and FX, with the satin finish) were made during the early 2000s. Platinum were made probably later 2000s decade into the early 2010s.

I found a 22 kick at Music go round, same color ,same lug,I think they only offered that lug for a short time, the badge on mine has a serial #,and says by drum workshop made in Taiwan.
I looked online and could not find much info on them, but the drum sounds pretty good.
I just posted an inquiry on the same style drums.
