Oye Como Va?

I want to start out by saying that this is a fantastic Vintage drum forum!

I have spent too many hours already just reading lots of good topics and viewing photos of beautiful drum kits.

Just a quick little Bio on me.

Started playing around age 12 and played in garage bands in So Cal through age 16 until I discovered cars. Jumped off the throne and sold my stuff to put $ into my rides. Fast forward to the year 2000 when I decided to start playing again. I learned that a friend who used to play professionally was selling his drum outfit. I went to his house then down to his basement where he showed me his 70's Ludwig stainless steel 6 piece kit. I was speechless. All shiny bright and imposing too! He also had a set of timbales to go with it.

Well, to make a long story short, he told me what he was asking we negotiated just a touch and I then I loaded them into the bed of my truck.

Man I love playing again. Hope to put together a little "mess around" group where we can re-live the excitement of playing music.

Peace.

Loud 70's Ludwig 24-13-14-16-18 Pro-Beat Stainless steel
