I can think of 2 things right off - Both were Kent floor toms. One FT cost more than the dang 3 piece kit I was buying it for.
It all comes out in the wash though - I've gotten enough deals to keep the scales balanced.

Me too, I've gotten a ton of good deals (both buying and selling) that offset all the other craziness...

just bought a sonor phonic plus(i got some great info here thanks guys) that
i paid 590 with shipping from uk. looked at drum said to myself you've

be a session rental piece sounds that unbelievable. i know it doesn't really fit here but for 3 wks or so till i could set it up right i thought i was gonna
take a bath! got offered 2500 for it last week and turned it down. it was
a friend and he can borrow it whenever he likes. dudes name is dan weiss
