Fifty years ago, if I'd have seen a picture of a kit like that, then I would dream about it all the time. I used to love big kits with strings of tom toms....If it had been up to me, then I would have gotten an Octa-Plus just like they showed in the old catalogs. But, unfortunately, what used to be cool isn't cool anymore. It's all about practicality these days.

Yeah, since it isn't a catalog kit or a kit used by a famous drummer, then I see no harm in breaking them up into several kits.

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I'd be interested in one of the bass drums if you decide to break it up. It does make a couple really nice kits.

Believe it or else!

A friend of mine out in California might be interested in the concert toms and/or the bigger floor toms if you decided to split things up. Let me know if that's apossibility and I will relay you his contact information.

I could see three drum sets made out of that conglomeration if the 20" drum is left as a bass drum. Of course, two of the drum sets would not have a snare drum unless you have other WMP snares.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
