Orange sparkle "Star" drums (barn fresh sorta)

Loading...

Hello Bryan,

Thanks for the advice on useing the auto-resize via my e-mail

It seems to work great for pics shot on the horizontal

I did not have any luck with the vertical images

Mikey and Raif I must say fellas, these bass drum hoops which are indeed made of steel show no signs of being anything but original

The inlays match perfect and appear to be factory installed on the hoops

In any event, if this little kit did not come with painted steel hoops right from the start

Well then It sure has them now

Every single head on all three drums are the originals (they cleaned up pretty well) ...I just can not see how the hoops could be mutts?? ....Kenwood

Speaking of mutts here are three orphans that play sorta nice together

Hello Kenwood,

I'm glad the pictures are posting for you now! I too have had that issue with the vertical photos. You need to rotate them on their side before they will upload to the site. It has to do with pixel width and height. If you rotate them, you will have no problems uploading them.

Strange about your metal hoops. Is it just a case that the normally bright finished hoops have been painted? Any sign of chrome under that black?

Hi Bryan,

I thought I would try the rotate to the side method you suggested

just a few more of the Stars.

Was not sure if there is a way to put them back right side up once having them uploaded?

I like that kit! How did you manage to get 'em to stick on the wall like that?

Speaking of WMP Star kits, I came across this recently:

Pricey, but appear to be in collector condition. Do these belong to anyone here?
