ty guys, yes to the lugs being aluminum the rims are not they were gone when i got snare.

Ok, if those are the aluminum jobs, you don't want to crank down the heads on that drum when you tune it up. Too much tension and they'll crack! They're notorious for it. You want to try to maintain a rare-bird like that in as original condition as you can.

Take care of it, that drum is an investment that will grow in value over time and more importantly, it's a little piece of Ludwig drum history that you can hold in your hands.

You don't 'have to' vault it. Put the aluminum lugs in a safe place in case you ever want to sell the drum. Throw on a set of 60's Bowties, tune that sucker up and play the hell out of it!

It's a drum... BEAT it! lol
