Not sure if the "wooded" snare is a Hayman but the kit looks ok for $500
One for the Aussie collectors
The UK's answer to Camco! Not a bad deal at all for the price. Wish they were here in the States. Nice kit. Love the gold finish. Anybody know what those old Hayman's sound like? I've never played one myself.
John
Thats a great price for that set.But i dont think that the snare is a Hayman snare it does not look like it..John,these drums sound great somewhat like a mid 60's Ludwigs.Mikey.
looking into it.
Bad timing! What a shame. My brother lives in Perth and could have grabbed it for me.
never heard from vendor, postage queries get you a wall of silence. i dread trying to get drums from interstate, its rare that vendors really want to help unless they are collectors like ourselves.that kit has probably sold, i will wait till something turns up locally, its not ideal but in time kits do present themselves.
yes, it's the same here.
Perth is probably further away from you than I am... and i'm in another country
Fortunately if I ever need things interstate I'm able to use my father's TNT shipping account and get low-cost road freight.
Got a set of 5 wheels/tyres sent from Perth (17" Subaru) - took 2 days, cost $80. Not bad.
Seeing as I've probably got the Aussies in one place, just thought I'd mention I'm selling a mid 1960s Camco Oaklawn COB snare with the original high-top rims and tuxedo lugs. I'll put a proper ad up in the for sale section.
