maybe Aluminium?!

also the bearing edges are bent back towards the shell..... normal??

it'S also very light, unusual for maybe being brass...

Remove all the lugs, wash down the lugs and shell in white vinegar, dry.

Hit them with any non abrasive chrome or metal polish/cleaner, buff with soft cloth.

Re-assemble, play and enjoy.

OR

Sell it. $100 tops.

Is that a full 14" or one of the 350mm shells? That might help date it more accurately. It might be hard to find hoops for it if it is the smaller shell although I think that some 14" hoops will work o.k.
