Olympic Snare Drum?

Loading...

HY Friends,

last weekend i bought an old Stardrumset from the 70s. With it came an English Snare Drum, that looks a wee bit like a Premier, but i think it`s something elseHelp2

The shell is very heavy and its very good craftmanship an this one;-)

Would some of you guys know something about that Snare?:o

Christiane,

What you have there seems to be a Chrome over Brass Olympic 1005 model.

Great snare and basically, it is a Premier !

Nice clean up,... congratulations.

Told you,... those thing sound killer and are as good as their American brass equivalents,... Ludwig BB, Slingerland Krupa, Rogers Dyna, etc...

I have an early 1950's Olympic.

Also brass and like yours, basically also a premier, it sounds phenomenal !!!

For some odd reason they don't get the love and attention they deserve.
