Olympian snare drums

Loading...

I just found this forum. I have an old Olympian snare drum, I don't know what year model, but I can't find any information anywhere about them. Does anyone know where I can get more info on them?

I'm not sure how to attach pics, but here is the badge on the drum.

They are one of many labels given to a couple of basic Japanese import kits (known as stencil kits) either made by the Pearl company or by the parent company of Tama. The shells are Likely made from luan wood. Sometimes, these stencil kits turn out with an unusual wrapped finish. For the most part, stencil drums are not well-made and usually not worth much...but there is a growing market for some Japanese kits with unusual finishes.
