Hawghunter, your set looks great so far! I've never seen or heard of a 14" MIJ rack tom. Is the Norma a converted marching snare? or possibly a converted (cut down) floor tom??? Either way, that's pretty interesting. Could you put some more pics up, maybe a few shots of the interior and reso edge?
The inked numbers on the re-rings I have seen. I'll try to post a couple of photos tonight. Whether or not they are dates, I'm not sure, but they seem to be only found on Star drums, and only on a few of those (that I've seen.)
