Hi, Just off the top my head,,could be a ludwig and ludwig 1920s-30s snare ..But the rims look gretsch to me..A photo of the snare strainer would help out alot...mikey

This is probably an obvious question, but are there any identifying markings anywhere on the drum?

It might not even be that old.
I don't recognize much about this drum. The way the head is seated, I think it might be an "ethnic" drum of some kind...something played with different types of sticks. I just have a feeling about it being something like that. I could be totally wrong.
