Old K with no stamp?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any known examples of old K Zildjian Istanbul cymbal out there that have no trademark stamps?

I recently got hold of a 13" cymbal that has no stamps whatsoever. It looks a lot like an old K to me. It's quite light - maybe about 500 grams or so.

I am having some difficulties uploading images right now. I will try again later.

I think I have managed to get one image uploaded

In the meantime if anyone had any information I would be glad to hear it.

Thanks so much.

So, here are a couple more photos.

Any guesses what this cymbal is?

I don't know what it is, but I do know its not a K. They always had a trademark.

Thanks. I don't know what it is either.

It sounds great! I'm thinking maybe something that was offered with Premier drums way back in the day. I've had a few Zanchi F&F cymbals that had a similar bell, but the lathing on this mystery cymbal looks like some old K's I've had. I use it as a top hi hat with some Istanbul EFES 13" Top hat (as the bottom hat) sounds cool!

Cheers for the reply.

Could it be an old K that was cut down?

From hardbat

Could it be an old K that was cut down?

That was the first thing that crossed my mind, but looking at the cymbal I can see that the overall shape seems fine. The profile looks normal and you can see how the lathing tapers off at the edge and the rings become closer together, so I think it looks good. I don't believe it has been cut down.
