old gretsch bass drum

friend of mine gave me a 22 X 14 inch bass drum, no hoops but with claws for hoops.

round badge, not painted inside, no spur holes but what looks like a cymbal arm mount and a tom mount

looks to be 3 ply, wrap looks like mid night blue

no serial number/paper sticker

any help in pinning down the year?
