Howdy, I have a couple of early DW pedals that are more similar to the Fleetfoot/Camco frame style but one has a square foot board heel shape and another has a cable instead of a chain drive. Both play very well as would be expected.

I picked up a used Taiwan DW 2000 pedal in the late-80s or early-90s (may be fuzzy on the date). The bearings were shot and DW was around the corner where I worked when they were in Newbury Park. I stopped in and John Good handed me new bearings for free. I wound up trading it at a music store for a new Tama Camco, they must have thought they were getting a "real" DW pedal.
