Old Ajax bass drum/snare - what do I have here?

Loading...

I don't actually have this yet, it is being delivered next week. I paid a fairly reasonable price I think, but I don't know anything about Ajax drums. Can someone give me an idea what I'm looking at in terms of age/rarity/value?

24" bass drum, 14" snare.

I will be looking to flip these, so if anyone has any interest, please get in touch. Just keep in mind shipping charges from the Canadian prairies to your location could be high, seeing as it's a 24" drum.

Look under B&H (Boosey & Hawkes) at the top of the page, they are their brand. You may not see these drums there but they got a history of Ajax to read !i

I don`t see a 8 lug 24" BD being sought after other than display or collector reasons. Who`s play`n the piano when the pic. was taken ? There`s no-one there !i
