Old A Zildjian Crash

I was wondering if anyone knows when the A Zildjian line of cymbals was first started? I have an old 18" A Zildjian crash that my dad bought in 1969. When he bought it it already had a keyhole worn in it so he figured it was pretty old already.

A Zildjian started making cymbals in America in the late 1930's.

I figured it was pretty old if the keyhole was already worn in 1969. Still looks mint too.
