Okay, So If You Replace Your Wrap On a Slingy, Where Do You Get New Grommets????

Loading...

Hi all:

So, I've posted the question to the members about where to get new grommets for my wood TRD Buddy Rich snare...with no responses.

Clearly, everytime a wrap is replaced or even a badge replaced, there has to be a new grommet (in almost all cases, I assume). So, that said, where do these grommets come from.

The best I could do is a similar size (but has slack and moves around) grommet used on Ludwigs.

So, where do I get replacement grommets? Am I naive to think that maybe there are NOS, or does everyone use repros? I would think this would have some impact on value if not origianl parts.

Whew.

Thanks!!!

Last I heard Jack Lawton is the person for those.

Other then that I have never seen an NOS Slingerland grommet, but

they might be out there some where.

You can also find a beat up drum and take the badge and grommet

off. Marching drums are great for that.

Thanks.

Well, since I am new to the site, can you tell me how to find Jack Lawton?

Much appreciated.
