Probably this is funny for you guys in Usa or West Europe, but here in Serbia is hard to find some vintage hardwer and to be functional. So,this is my first vintage hardware set:

Premier Olympic cymbal stand

Premier 250S pedal

Dule, if you like it and intend to use this hardware, it is a great set! I'm sure it will prove most functional. Most of us did not start on perfectly matched and beautifully preserved vintage hardware. At least I didn't! Good for you!

I have a Hollywood hi hat just like yours that I just got around 4 mths ago........I love it!

The chrome is ex...........you should polish yours if you haven't already.......it will shine like a mirror!

I had a Premier pedal like that in around 1976.........it wasn't the best............

That Premier pedal is "arguably" the best pedal made in the '60s. (I'm sure some of you Speed King nuts would really want to "argue" about that one Falling DoFalling Do). Anyway, many of the rock drummers who did not swear by the Speed King swore by the Premiers. I've got one myself, and I'm a Ludwig collector! My favorite rock 'n' roll drummer Gary Driscoll used only a Premier pedal with his mahogany Ludwig three-ply 14-16-18-26 and wore a ballet slipper on his right foot!

Looks like a counterweight from the photo, but it's actually the spring.

Yes it is spring and the hook on the spring is screw, turning it left or right you can increase or decrease spring force.
