I’m trying to complete a full set of B/O champagne sparkle toms. I’m only missing a 14x14 and 20x18. A guy online is selling a 20x18 floor and I believe it’s the first I’ve ever seen. With shipping, his asking price is around $850. The drum isn’t perfect by any stretch, but it’s in round and there’s no ply separation. Mainly scuffs, scrapes, fade and peeled back wrap. What do you guys think is a fair offer in this condition?

Anyone have an idea? Know it’s a little soon for a bump, but I’m eager for input.

Maximum of $300 delivered to your home.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Thanks for your input. Is that based on condition? I feel I don’t see 20 floors come around that often and figured it would impact the price pretty significantly.

I think $350 shipped is very low. That's the going rate for a typical 16 inch Ludwig floor without shipping included.

18 and 20 inch Ludwig floor toms are very rare. And a 20 inch off to the left of the hi hats for your set (when you find a 12 inch tom) would be awesome!

With that being said I think the price is a little steep due to potential bearing edge damage. I would peg value between $500-$650.

If it was a keystone the price would be right

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
