Not your average Majestic snare...

Loading...

So I picked up this Majestic a couple of months ago and decided to make it look a little older. Added the tube lugs, cob single-flange hoops and sprayed it with an amber-tint lacquer to make it look aged. It looks awesome now, and kinda matches my no-name MIJ bass drum!

On a related note, does anyone know the age of this snare drum based on the badge? I have no clue...

That's a good-looking combo. The snare looks real good!

I'm no guru, just a vintage drum junkie!

I'd date that snare drum to being produced between late 60s to early 70s.

Thanks, Fellas...and thanks for the info, Ralf. When I originally bought the snare on eBay it looked more yellow than it actually was, so I had to get creative to match the bass drum.
