Loading...

Hi. Today I found this snare for sale. The seller said it's new and never been used. I would like to get info about it because I'm considering buying it. The price is acceptable.

Edit: I looked carefuly and the model is written in the box: "1005"

1005 would be considered Premier's 'entry' level snare - 8 lug steel shell.

Decent enough quality, looks late 80's/early 90's. Hard to give a price without your location.

I would think that $150 or less would be an acceptable price for this nice Premier NOS snare drum.

If I used the correct conversion calculator, the price appears to be just under $100 US currency. Seems very fair to me, especially for a NOS snare drum.

Right Mark. I contacted him and he's accepting €60. I would like to have it just for collecting because it's mint with original heads.

I bought it, €50 plus shipping. Includes Vic Firth drum sticks, drum key, and original package. His grandfather gave it to him but he never played it. Even being an entry level snare, I think this is a good find. What do you think? :)

I have one of those snares and I use it with my Beverley's. It is really a nice snare. Mine sounds great and cuts through nice. Has a great pop when tuned up.
