NOS 1964 ludwig 400 5x14 supra

I hear you... it would be economically stupid to buy that drum and use it... like uncirculated coins - you don't dare touch 'em.

I guess, more accurately, if someone gave me the drum and I couldn't resell it, then I'd open it and play the crap out of it.

That drum very well could still be in the plastic 50 years from now... THEN some guy will open it and play the crap out it, and say... "sucks, I guess it was a bad one".

Can't ask the seller as he doesn't allow for questions. So ... do any of you know for certain that this is a COB? I thought Ludwig stopped making COB around 62?

Thanks. Joey

No takers yet. He may have to take it out of the plastic so we can really see it.

This is not a cob and was never described as such, it may be in the threads, but no it isn't a COB, the rare thing about this 400 is that it is NOS 1964, it could be a players drum or a collectors drum either way, they both gotta cough up the coin!!

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

That appears to be my mistake. I was the one who added the COB term. I apologize and I stand corrected. Burger Kin It still is a drum I wouldn't need to play in order to know what the sound was. I love ALL Supras!
