No badges, but serial numbers?

Bought this today and started taking it apart for ID, but can't find anything that points to a manufacturer. It came with an early 60s Sound King and was the main reason I bought the kit. Sizes are 12, 13, 16 & 20. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, it's a Pearl-sourced something or other. Maybe Whitehall, maybe Dixie. Any nail-holes in the wrap or areas that may indicate the shape of a badge? Looks like a few opposite the Ser# tag.

I don't see any nail holes, and the grommets are very light weight, they can be easily removed with your fingers. I'm going to clean them up and throw some new heads on them.

I concur - yes, those lugs (this HW in general) are made by Pearl - a specific type of Slinger copy. And the most common Stencil I have seen that on is indeed the Whitehall - and Yes, I have seen Whitehall badges - with this little serial badge under the Whitehall badge.

1967 or earlier - these thinner shells sound fantastic with good edges and heads.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

Wow, the second set of Whitehalls I've owned, thanks for the response. I'm hoping to clean and polish them up, it looks like there is years of grime on them, and even a cigarette burn on the BD. Thanks again!!

Nice. I have a Whitehall I am restoring - my first kit from back in the day! ... serial W 00614 in red sparkle. I never knew what year this was, just used when I got it at age 11 in 1971. So maybe its a 65 or 66 with that low serial number...
