That drum was made by Pearl not Yamaha.So much B/S in his listing i really like what he puts about the strainer, he way off base on that.Yahama drums of the 60's did not have rings,the strainer is a copy of the Slingerland R/K clam shell,The grommet is wrong on the drum its a new chrome one the right grommet would be a brass one.The pearl wrap is also new....Mikey

I remember seeing the name on some Timps here. According to forum member Yoshi in the thread I posted there does seem to be a connection with Yamaha. I seem to remember confirming that with some research later.
