Unfortunately, I do not have any of the original rods so I can't validate what the original length was. I received the drum with modern generic rods that stand out compared to the nob hoops and nickel plated lugs. They just have to fit bowtie lugs if that helps. Thanks.

I just pulled one of mine and measured it for you. total length from top to bottom is 2".

i'm in the same boat as you. ive got a duco pioneer in all nickel with chrome rods!

arent the clubdate 8x12 tom the same size?

no, the clubdate lugs would be much longer. they use the same lug and the shell would be three inches deeper.
