I have some nickel hardware to clean up. I use dawn and turtle wax chrome polish for chrome hardware, does the same process work OK with nickel ?
Nickel hardware
The turtle wax should work, but I've also had some really good results using simi-chrome polish with my nickel hardware.
I've had amazing results with nickel plate by using Billet Chrome and Aluminum Polishes. In restoring vintage automotive for over 25 years it was only just recently that I used Billet from my auto shop on vintage drum hoops and lugs... they came out so well that I can say that the finish looked even deeper than a polished chrome result, it almost resembles mercury or aluminum. Micro Fiber cloths to apply, and Micro Fibre to buff to a shine. (Just remember not to "over buff" aged or vintage plated parts!)

Is that a "Mother's" product?
Thanks!
