Nice little Tromsa 13x5

Here is an early 60's Tromsa 13 x 5 W.M.P. Snare drum. The shell is the typical 3 ply Poplar with European Beech re-rings. The hardware is nickel plated. This one has a cast butt. Tromsa switched to a stamped butt around the time this was made. Wrap is still pretty white but has shrunk a little. Every thing is original.The drum has a very deep full tone and a pronounced shell character.

Very nice little drum that I am finding I am increasingly attracted to.

Yes, I remember that one. Probably a little earlier due to the hoops. Korri had Tromsa build drums for them for about 15 years, I would think.
