I bot them. will pick up next week. take a look at that BIG ride. bass is 20 inches. how big is the ride, and why is it that odd color?

Yeah I was eying them too as I could have made the trek over there for these......but the price got too high (adding gasoline) and was not sure what the cymbals were. Auto.pilot snagged up a very nice kit, though the cymbals were a mystery.

I've got that exact ride, I think. My friend bought a house and found it abandoned in the basement, and gave it to me. It's a 24" thin Japanese student ride with a really steep but short bell and cool hammering. Very low pitched, short decay. Really unique, but it doesn't sound like the budget cymbal that it was at the time. The only marking on it is a 6-pointed flower stamp around the underside of the center hole that says "Japan." Darkest cymbal I've ever heard.
