Hey gantro !

As I stated in another response, the badge literally flaked off and disintegrated .. I could not believe that this Bollero badge is a sticker. Crazy ..

Hi Mikey777,Thanks for the info on the snare drum.. I actually picked it up today and took it apart for cleaning. All the parts and hardware were just dusty with some grime, and a little stiff, but zero rust. Shell is in round, and bearing edges are pretty clean, however i will sand down a 220 grit to remove the miniscule bumps and rough parts. The wrap is in tact with no cracks or spider webbing around lugs and seam is nice and tight.I will also lacquer the interior with 2 light coats to protect the wood. The wrap looks to be a silver/ black sparkle oyster. It's bubbled around parts of the shell, but nothing major. As I said, this will be a spare "beater" that i will leave at one of the places I play every month. And here's the best part. 10 LUGGER ! Yes, a nice 10 lugs for a nice wide tuning range. Mine is the 5 ply with no re-rings. I wil post pics once the drum is fnished, but first i have to get all the necessary items to bring it to like new playing condition. Cheers,Rob

Wow Rob, A 10 lug snare, rare wrap it just make the snare even rarer being a 10 luger!!!!These are hard to come by...

I had a ten-lug MIJ snare for a while and it was absolutely killer! I only sold it because....well, I had to didn't I?

Hey guys. Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of the snare shell's interior after a light sanding, 1 coat of "summer oak" stain, and a high end wood protector sealant to protect the wood. I was going to put a couple of coats of lacquer, but I found it wasn't necessary as the stain already has some in it, and the wood sealant is enough to treat and protect the wood. The pics aren't the best, but it gives you an idea of how clean the interior is. I also cleaned the wrap, and waxed it with some carnuba wax, which was done today, but not when these pics were taken.

Hey gantro ! Thanks ! It did take both extremely well, with zero issues. It also captured the wood grain nicely as well, something I wasn't expecting.
