Nice 67' Mod Orange..

I see they got a sense of reality, and brought them down to somewhere close to the right range.

That wrap is sweet though, too bad no matching snare with that auction and wonder if you could ever find a matching snare...
Call me old fashioned but that is an obscene price for three drums. '67 isn't even that old. I had a '62 blue sparkle ludwig, pre-serial numbers, with a 20x14, 12x8, 14x14 setup and it went for around $1,200 for the whole thing.
That does seem expensive. By the way, is that you Rich?
Premier Genista, 22, 16, 13, 12 Black Lacquer
Premier Genista, 20, 14, 10 and snare Black Lacquer
Premier Resonator 22, 16, 14, 13 poly creme/black
Zickos 22, 16, 14, 13, clear acrylic and snare
Feels $1000 high to me but I like that color... so to me, it's a really nice kit.

A guy on another vintage drum forum just did. And about the same date as the set we are talking about here.

Jim I agree with you on both fronts. Awesome color but not for me at that price.
