Hi everyone!! I'm new on this site and just wanted to introduce myself. My name's Reese, I'm 49 years old and a huge fan of vintage drums. The reason for joining this site is that I would like to share/find information about vintage drums concerning restoring and maintaining them. I believe that vintage drums have something unique that sets them apart from all other, newer, sets. Due to space limitations I currently own 3 complete vintage sets. A '76 Gretsch grand prix, an '82 Premier resonator and a mid eightees Rogers. All in very good condition with snaredrums. I try to use all of them as often as I can but it's always a hassle to change everything around!! Anyway, I'm glad to be part of this forum!
