Hello everyone, I am very pleased to have discovered this site and I am hopeful that I might find some information regarding my Classic Maple kit.

I recently bought the kit and the seller tells me it's from the mid to late 90's. He calls the color Flame Shadow and it's a beauty. There isn't any mounting hardware on any of the Toms or the Bass drum. They came with Vibraband mounts. There aren't any extra holes in any of the shells. The Keystone badges say Monroe, N.C. But there are no serial numbers. There are numbers, however stamped inside the shells.

The kit is beautiful and sounds great but I would really love to know as much of the story behind them.

Thanks

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.
