New Vintage Rogers & Ludwig Pics Posted

Loading...

hey everyone,

Just posted some new pics to my website tonight.

Go to my website (click on my signature) then go to "Pictures" to see me with The Vince Villanueva Trio. I am playing my 12/14/20 Rogers Holidays with My red Sparkle Jazz festival Snare.

Also go to my vintage section for a new pic of the Jazz Festival. wish the picture came out a little clearer. I might rety posting that one, or just take a new pic.

I'd love to hear comments, too!

Paul, great photos and nice website. LOVE that Rogers kit. I like the vintagey looking black and white shots (I'm a photographer). I'm looking for the same kit you playing. Great looking band too, I'm envious. Do you still have the BDP Rogers kit for sale ? I'd like the smaller sizes but thats a great looking set too.

Thanks for the nice comments. While I wont be selling my 12/14/20 BDP Rogers Holiday anytime soon (or ever). I am selling it's sister, a 13/16/22 BDP Rogers Holiday kit in BDP.

I have it listed as $1600 on my website, but I have been meaning to lower the price. I am taking reasonable offers, as I am moving soon, and it would be nice to have 1 less drum kit to move.

I am also selling my Ludwig 60's BDP club date/Super Classic "Frankenstein" (12/16/20) kit for a reasonable offer.

You can check them out here:

PK, what did you use to refinish those Ludwig hoops? I used some Ace Hardware black lacquer as advised by some folks on here, and they haven't turned out that great. I sanded them down a little, but maybe I should've more; maybe it didn't stick to some repaint, and maybe I just need a couple more coats.

ANyway, yours look great.
