The rubber feet for your kick are still made by Gibraltar as replacements. I don't know the part # but should be readily available in any fine music store.

Feed-n-Wax, right, not "Wax-n-Feed." It's my go-to for treating bearing edges, etc. Every vintage drum person should have a bottle.

Cool that you're already taking to it. After playing other instruments for 35 years, a couple of years ago I rescued a bunch of drum parts that were about to be dumpstered, thinking I could fix them up and donate them to a school or something, and since then, drums are pretty much my main focus, I have a vintage Slingerland kit, etc.

As a guitar player acquaintance of mine said after he bought a drum kit for his home studio "I should have bought a drum kit six guitars ago!"

Don't know what you have in mind for learning how to play, but I can give you the titles of the books that I've found helpful.

DrummerWorld is a good forum for general drum stuff, very active.

I'm glad to see that your hi-hats are Azco. Probably nice and thin, too. I'm pickiest about hats. Modern sets are too clanky for me. The Stewart cymbals are probably going to get replaced if you get more serious. Zildjian A or Sabian AA go well with vintage drums. The bass-mounted ride cymbal is most *****in'.
