Anyone notice this guys stuff for sale. He has it on eBay set up for bid, but then adds a photos saying don't bid. See attached.
New Scam
Definitely a scam. Not seen this for a while, but old formula to take our money. Post the jpg with the contact info to avoid ebay text fraud detection.
I'd report to eBay. If they're legit they'll fix the issue so then can continue to sell... if not they'll get bounced (hopefully)!!!

Ebay makes it a pain in the butt to report sellers misrepresenting merchandise.
Bought some snare hoops that are being advertised as die cast and they are just stamped steel hoops.
No where on the site did it let me report it.
Returns were near impossible.
Thanks, Dan !!

I didn't know that, I've never bought/sold anything on eBay. However it doesn't surprise me that they would make the process difficult or near impossible to report problems of the 'marketplace' unless it hits them directly (hey, we're just a sales portal / conduit) and in the pocketbook.
I remember seeing listings from this seller. The link above is no longer valid. It's not that he was a scammer, it was just the way he was selling his items. He would list them for starting low prices, but, in reality, you really needed to use the BIN price if you wanted it. If I recall, he was selling high priced items.

It's easy to Report Item but you must be signed into eBay for it to work correctly.
Scroll down to the Description part of the screen. Top right corner you will find the REPORT ITEM link. If you are signed into eBay, it will take you to a weak set of drop down options for reporting. There is no option to enter specific text, and the drop down choices are not very good. Have down it more than once when I find something like the link Dan mentioned.

This person is doing the same thing with an old K OS Type IIb. I nearly got snagged until until they demanded a bank-to-bank transfer to Spain. I'll post the link below, but it keeps getting removed and then reposted. I cannot attach pictures for reference because I don't have permission to post images on this forum (I have tried over and over again to request permission to no avail). Anyway, they use the same format (appearance is similar).
