Just a quick note to encourage caution buying new Rogers parts for original Rogers Dynasonics. I bought a couple of new end guards for the snare frame/bottom hoop.
These are not made according to the original specifications. They don't have the same shape, they are not the same size and, worst of all, they do not fit an original Rogers Dynasonic hoop.

Good to know! I have both repro and original Dynasonic hoops, but never thought to see if the new guards will fit the original bottom hoop. I'll have to check this out.

Was the engineer unaware that there was a earlier Rogers Drum Company? Jeez.
I don't think it would be that hard to design something at fits everything, but be subtly marked so as not to be passed off as original "vintage". Maybe just an over-sight in this instance, or does this apply to all the smaller parts?
Chicago Music Exchange was kind enough to send me a label to return them. I suggested they provide an indication to potential buyers that the new parts will only fit a new Dynasonic.
