I assumed that it was in reference to the 38,000 Ringo kit and the 32,000 Ringo style snare on Ebay. Am I wrong?

Outrageous price!....until I read how much a guitar that used to belong to Lennon and Harrison went for at auction...$530,000. So that means that Ringo's drum is priced at about 7% of what the guitar went for. hmmmmm....

Even if that is what he's referring to, what bearing does that have on us for him to opine that "we as collectors players won’t stand a chance"? If anything, it should mean that a nice vintage drum set we want to sell might command $2,000 instead of $1,500.

but when I look up vintage drums in google search

they are some really out of this world pricing or am I not seeing things right
