Yeah, any time youcan have a matching 20-12-14, well, I don't know, I am kinda partial to them anyway...I like the loveliness of them. They just sound so....sweet. I love a 14 over a 16 any day.

Would you be happy with a 3-piece red strata without the matching snare?

It's been only a month and you are just one drum away from the original plan.

Buying the red strata bass and tom does keep all options open though, but you would still be a snare away from a full 4-piece matched set.

Then it would be a foot race to see which pops up first, the red strata snare, or a 20 inch bass of another finish than you already have.

HMMMMM........ which would come in first??

If there was a way to answer to that question, then I think that would show you your course.

I've got someone who REALLY wants my 14 floor. I'm in comms with 'em and will more than likely put this one to rest.

Looking for a double bass Ludwig Standard Red Strata set? I was in this store in Seattle a couple of days ago and they had a set on the shelf. Not sure of the bd sizes, but you could sell one and keep the rest if you wanted. Don't remember if there was a snare.

Sorry, no pics on the website.
