New Movie In The Works

Daniel Radcliffe, the star of the "Harry Potter" franchise, is set to play "Weird Al" Yankovic in a biopic about his life for Roku. In a cheeky statement, the comedy recording artist said he was "absolutely thrilled" about Radcliffe's casting, adding "I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the role future generations will remember him for."

Yes, this is drum related because our very own Jon Bermuda Schwartz will probably be portrayed in the movie. But, who of us should get the nod to play that role? Sadly, I'm too old for the part. The film is sated to begin filming in February.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Wow oh wow

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Hey, leedybdp!

I would be perfect for that role!!! I am young, very handsome and extremely talented in the world of the great bard! Hey, wait a minute. I've been drinking quite a bit. I am old, not that great looking and have never been blessed with any acting skills. I am a complete liar and charlatan. My apologies, my friends.

Brian,

I am certain that, through the magic of Hollywood, you would be perfect! If only they were filming in the Great White North!

Thank you, my friend for the kind words. I can only hope that you hold a seat on the Academy Awards Board of Nominees! This may be my year afterall despite my shortcomings! Did I just say "shortcomings"?! That's another issue altogether!!!

Oh, I somehow missed this from over a year ago!

They cast Tommy O'Brien as me, and he does play drums and mimed all of the parts and fills very accurately. I caught only one infraction, probably obvious to only me.

The movie was well-produced and well-acted. Worth watching if you have some time. I suspect it's still streaming on Roku.

We watched "weird" a couple weeks ago. I thought it was very good. I think a better movie would be a documentary about AL, his family and career. And of course the band.

Thank you!

I watched it right after it came out. I thought it was hilarious and a great parody of music biopics.
