HI ALL

Dave here based in Liverpool in the UK.

I have a vintage Ajax mardi gras kit with matching rogers snare, came from my dad who was around in the 60s Beatles period. Apparently it was owned by Pete Best the original Beatles drummer, although i cant validate this. Im thinking of getting it restored, although its in really good condition. Ive noted that the bass drum hoop inlays in the US were RED OR SILVER. My kit has original Mardi Gras inlays which must of been for the UK market.does anyone know what wood was used for these kits.?

Cheers

Dave

Welcome to the spot Dave!

As kevins said, please post some pix. But I'd rather see a few bunches of pix versus a few!
