Magnus, I was just looking over your Compact Drums web site. Great site! Easy to navigate, full of great information and reviews.

I laughed out loud while reading your safety disclaimer in the article about porting small bass drum heads, and using a heated metal can.

"Wear oven mitts, protective eye-wear, life-jacket, parachute, contraceptives, earplugs and any other safety gear you can get your hands on."

That's funny.

I've seen your compact drum site many times. I've been slowly working on a DIY cocktail kit and have used your site as a reference. Thanks for the info! I just finished a mount that is a variation of one of yours. When I get it prettied up I will send you some pics.

Wanted: Pearl President floor tom in Golden Grain wrap and rack tom in Tiger Eye (root beer) wrap.
