Nice time capsule of a set. The Gretschs of that era are not nearly as common as the Leedys and the Ludwigs of that era.

The snare drum holds most of the resale value for the set. Looks like Gretsch used a Slingerland shell, throw off and muffler.

The snare by itself is probably worth $450-650. The rest of the set, with the cymbals and accessories probably another $500.

Those single tension basses, tacked on bottom heads and duco finishes don't bring a ton on the resale market...but the sentimental value is priceless.

I think Steve Maxwell can do an official appraisal for insurance...it may not be worth the trouble...
