Hello,
I have been looking for some vintage flat/flush base hardware for my sets and I have just not had much good luck. Looking for hardware from Premier, Olympic, Ludwig, Rogers, Camco, etc. Anything out there is either not in great shape, or crazy priced or both. So, that is leading me to look at the newer offerings from DW, Ludwig, Gibraltar, Pearl, Tama, Canopus, etc.
Does anyone have any experience, good or bad with the more modern offerings,? Rough idea what you paid? I would really like to stay with hardware that borrows from vintage looks, is light weight, yet sturdy enough to hold a 22 inch cymbal but I do not expect the hardware to not sway when played due to the light nature. Just down' want stuff falling apart or over.
