Today when i got on to list parts. This thing came up saying as of Oct.1 that your listing can not have your email address listed in listing..My P/P address is the same as my email address..So is Ebay going to take off how you like to be paid under P/P in listing? Or am i missing something? Mikey

My P/P and email address's are the same too. I took it as you can't use your web link or email address in the description part of the listing. But who knows with eBay, anything is possible.

aaaah, sleezBay...they're doing all they can to keep folks from doing the deal on the side & bypassing their outrageous fees. Between their fees & their fellow Tu*d Burglar PayPal, (I really don't think they're our Pal) it's become impossible to make an honest buck on the site any longer. I have started spelling out the "dot" and include spaces in places like "ya hoo" to bypass the auto-detect feature in their programming. Sometimes the buyer/seller doesn't understand what the hell I'm doing, but for the most part it works well. I also had/have an email account with my eBay user name, but just created another account on Yahoo to use for the PayPal money issue. These Pin Heads just don't understand, that the greedier they get, the more people want to screw them in the poop shoot! I actually get a lot of satisfaction out of this little cat & mouse game!

Yeah, and now that people have found out if you send $$ via P/P as "Gift",P/P doesn't get their 3.2% Domestic / 4.2% International fees..........

It DOES feel good to screw them like they screw us!

First time I did that,I had someone sent me $900 as "Gift", I saved $28.80 in fees!

(I already sent the Turkish K in advance. It was to Denny Seiwell,ex Paul McCartney and Wings,so I was pretty sure he had the $$!)

Anyway.....POWER TO THE PEOPLE! RIGHT ON!guitar2

I agree the fees are a pain in the butt by guys seriously where can you get exposure for your products to the whole freekin world? there are many many thing I loathe about the bay but it is cheap advertizing considering the sheer amount of people who can see your items, nothing is free but i think it is still a bargain the alternative is ?

i don't sell on there but i do like ebay and i know alot of people make a living on there. and i understand it business and ebay's gotta do what they gotta do. still, just because they have the numbers in viewers shouldn't mean they should dig deeper in your pockets. and i don't know why everyone complains but still bends over. i don't get it.

i believe they mave a master plan and eventually they're going to go in a different direction were it won't be the ebay we used to know. its things like the fees and other issues people have were they're going to look elsewhere like my site, your site or drumsell.com for example. or we all might only buy and sell off each other on forums like this.

some of you guys know my story...i stopped selling on there long ago and i sell thru my site. its a free site, nothing fancy. sure, i'm not making bank, but i cut out the middleman and i can still sell stuff at a good price AND no fees. some of my buyers are former ebay buyers and they feel the same way.
